Marissa turns to look behind her.
"Are you still coming with us, miss?" The captain of the boat acquired. "We must leave soon, for there is a long journey ahead."
For a moment she felt a little nauseous. This was the first time she was to set foot off of the island.
This could be the last time she sees her home. Marissa ponders the thought.
The unknown was daunting, but not enough to keep her from finding her brother.
Gathering up every bit of courage that she had, she climbed into the boat, trying not to look back.
